We are incredibly privileged to be part of the Super Support initiative, which has created some truly amazing moments for both our team and the families we serve.
Super Support is a collaborative service that provides Tauranga’s older community with free nutritious pre-cooked meals, food supplies and wrap-around support.
But the impact of Super Support goes beyond just meals – it has sparked kindness and creativity in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Recently, two of our dedicated volunteers were out delivering food support when they noticed that some of the people receiving this were not only struggling with food insecurity but also facing the cold. Without a second thought, these volunteers took it upon themselves to start making blankets to provide extra warmth alongside the meals.
This simple act of kindness speaks to the heart of what Super Support is all about: community, compassion, and going above and beyond. We’re proud to be part of a movement that not only fights hunger but also strengthens the bonds between us all. Every contribution, big or small, has a ripple effect that creates positive change—and we are so grateful to witness it firsthand.
